Video Stabilizer, model DVD-DX11, is a new product to our line.  Released December, 2003, it overcomes the newest video stabilization problems with ease.

Ideal for backing up old home movies or stock video that has degenerated, as it eliminates the distorted signals which are often mis-interrupted as a MacroVision video protection signal.

Though this will also work well to back up copy-protected video, it is legal to do such only if you own the video and the back-up copy is for your use only.

Other devices may claim success in video transfers, but we guarantee it!

This works using the standard RCA (yellow) jack on the rear of your VCR or DVD.  For optimal performance, S-Video jacks are included.

Many PC DVD burners confuse old tapes as MacroVision encoded, and this will eliminate that problem.

Works with NTSC and PAL formats.

Copy VCR to VCR, VCR to DVD, DVD to VCR, DVD to DVD.  Also compatible with PS2 consoles and Xbox.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will it copy DVD's?  Yes.  It will copy the following formats: VHS, Beta, DVD, SVCD, in either PAL or NTSC (North American) formats.

Where do I connect the audio cables to this?  There is no need to connect the audio, you do so directly between the player and recorder.  MacroVision signals and video distortion do not affect audio.

I have red lines in my DVD copy.  This is due to the newest movies with MacroVision II protection.  This is not designed to remove MacroVision II.  A few of the newest DVD's are affected by this.

The picture is still jerky.  You may still need to adjust your tracking buttons on your VCR.  Also, using the S-Video connections will provide you with the best transfer.

Can I use this with my video capture card on my PC?  Yes,  we believe it will work with most brands.  It has been  copletely tested on brands such as Ati and GeForce

Does this product work with the Media Center Bose (lifestyle 28) DVD player ? Or Xbox DVD ?  Any MacroVision encoded media past thru the DVD Video Decoder will be decoded. Either of the sources mentioned will work fine. (2002-12-05)

Will it allow me to play Region 2 DVD's on a Region 1 player ?  No, DVD's bought in Europe will only play on European DVD players.

How well does it clean up an old home video?
Actually, it doesn't  clean the signal, it just removes the signal which falsely appears to be a MacroVision signal, causing the distortion.  You will probably find that your tape is actually in quite good condition, it is merely an errant signal causing the recording target to purposely scramble your home video!

What if I don't like the results, can I return it?  YES! We have a 100% guarantee (less shipping).
